Showcase your genetics

We invite breeders to nominate a heifer for the Heifer 100 Club—an exciting opportunity to showcase your genetics and support the future of the breed.

To be eligible, breeders must be financial members of Speckle Park International, with each member permitted to submit one entry through the Expression of Interest process. Only one heifer submission is allowed per member.

Heifer requirements

Heifer must be of breeding quality, including the following assurances:

  1. Demonstrably sound, well-grown, and in good condition.

  2. Veterinary soundness checked with an internal examination of reproductive organs and PTIC status (if applicable).

  3. Registered with Speckle Park International.

  4. Minimum age: 15 months at time of draw.

Breeders must confirm on entry submission that the heifer meets the above requirements and provide the necessary veterinary certificates. SPI reserves the right to remove a nominated heifer from the pool if it is deemed unsuitable or if the required documentation is not provided.

The Expression of Interest form must include

  1. Pedigree and registration information.

  2. Animal’s date of birth.

  3. Vaccination status.

  4. At least one high-resolution side-profile photo (minimum 1200 px).

  5. Short video clip of the heifer
    (showing movement and temperament).

Payment terms to breeders

Before the nominated heifer leaves the breeder’s possession, the breeder must provide:

  • a completed and signed transfer form,

  • a veterinary soundness check report as outlined in the Heifer Requirements.

These documents ensure the heifer meets SPI standards and is ready for transfer. Once all required documentation has been received and approved by Speckle Park International, a payment of $4,500 will be made to the breeder.

Breeders may also choose to donate part or all of this payment back to SPI as a sponsorship contribution toward the 2025 Ekka Speckle Park exhibit. While completely optional, any contributions will be formally acknowledged by SPI as a show of appreciation for your support.

Speckle Park International assumes no liability for any issues arising from the heifer after selection, including health, fertility, temperament or transport complications.

Media usage policy

All submitted photos and videos may be used in SPI's official promotions related to the raffle. Submissions not meeting the media standards (clear, high-resolution, well-posed) may be excluded from promotional use. SPI reserves final discretion on which heifer profiles are featured.

Draw procedure

Electronic random draw software will be used to ensure fairness.

  • The draw will be conducted live on SPI’s official Facebook page and recorded for transparency.

  • The winner will be contacted directly and announced during the livestream. If a winner is found to be ineligible, a redraw will be conducted under the same conditions.

Additional prize conditions

The raffle winner will receive a transport allowance of up to $500 to assist with the cost of relocating the selected heifer.

  • This amount is payable as a reimbursement upon presentation of a valid transport invoice or receipt.

  • If the actual transport cost is less than $500, SPI reserves the right to reallocate the unused portion at its discretion. This may include, but is not limited to, contributing toward breeder delivery costs or returning the surplus to SPI's fundraising pool for the promotion of Speckle Park steer classes.

  • The transport allowance is not redeemable for cash and may only be applied to costs directly associated with heifer relocation.

Let’s make 2025 a milestone year for Speckle Park.
