Farm Tours, Fine Food & the AGM!

This November, the Speckle Park community will gather in Melbourne for three days of connection, learning and celebration. Members and their guests are warmly invited to take part in farm tours, a special cocktail evening showcasing Speckle Park beef, and the 2025 SPI Annual General Meeting.

Across the weekend, you’ll have the chance to see Speckle Park operations firsthand, enjoy a menu designed by leading chef Jake Hurst featuring our breed at its finest, and hear from industry speakers before taking part in the AGM.

Friday 21 November
Open Day Tours

The program begins with on-farm visits, giving members the opportunity to see Speckle Park operations firsthand.

Morning & Afternoon: Tours hosted by participating studs (host stud details to be released soon).

Travel, dinner and accommodation are arranged by members.

Saturday 22 November
Open Day Tours & Member Welcome Drinks

Tours continue on Saturday morning, wrapping up by 2.00 pm to allow members time to return to Melbourne for the evening function.

Member Welcome Drinks - 6.00 – 8.30 pm
Venue: Doutta Galla Hotel, North Melbourne

Join fellow members and guests for an evening of connection and celebration.

A taste of Speckle Park - Benbullen Speckle Park Meats together with Speckle Park Certified have kindly supplied the beef for the evening’s canapés.

Enjoy premium Speckle Park beef canapés paired with wine, beer or soft drinks while connecting with fellow breeders. The evening will include a welcome from SPI Chairman, Vaughn Johnston, followed by Jake Furst, COO & Chef of the KickOn Group, who will introduce the menu and share his insights into preparing and presenting Speckle Park beef at its finest.

Sunday 22 November
Industry Updates & AGM

Venue: Mercure Hotel, North Melbourne

Morning Session (10.00 am – 12.00 pm)
Guest speakers will share insights on genetics, innovation and opportunities for the breed.

12.00 – 1.15 pm: Light lunch with fellow members.

Afternoon Session (from 1.30 pm)
SPI AGM, including the Chairmans address, subcommittee reports and member discussions.

Accommodation is available at the Mercure North Melbourne, located on the corner of Flemington Road and Harker Street – the same venue hosting Sunday’s Industry Updates and AGM.
