Farm Tours, Fine Food & the AGM!
This November, the Speckle Park community will gather in Melbourne for two days of connection, learning and celebration. Members and their guests are warmly invited to take part in farm tours, a special cocktail evening showcasing Speckle Park beef and the 2025 SPI Annual General Meeting.
Across the weekend, you’ll have the chance to see Speckle Park operations firsthand, enjoy a menu designed by leading chef Jake Hurst featuring our breed at its finest, and hear from industry speakers before taking part in the AGM.

The program begins with on-farm visits, giving members the opportunity to see Speckle Park operations firsthand.

Tours wrap up by 2.00 pm to allow members time to return to Melbourne for the evening function.
Tours hosted by participating studs. Please contact the stud you would like to attend to make arrangements for your visit. Travel, dinner and accommodation are arranged by members.

Member Welcome Dinner - 6.00 – 8.30 pm
Venue: Doutta Galla Hotel, North Melbourne
Join fellow members and guests for a relaxed cocktail-style dinner featuring premium Speckle Park beef canapés, wine, beer and good company as we come together to celebrate the breed and community.
A taste of Speckle Park - Benbullen Speckle Park Meats together with Speckle Park Certified have kindly supplied the beef for the evening’s canapés.
Enjoy premium Speckle Park beef canapés paired with wine, beer or soft drinks while connecting with fellow breeders. The evening will include a welcome from SPI Chairman, Vaughn Johnston, followed by Jake Furst, COO & Chef of the KickOn Group, who will introduce the menu and share his insights into preparing and presenting Speckle Park beef at its finest.

Industry Updates & AGM

Morning Session (10.00 am – 12.00 pm)
Join us for an engaging two-hour Workshop exploring the future of Speckle Park genetics, carcase performance and brand development.
Program highlights:
Guest Speakers: Industry experts sharing insights on meat tenderness and carcase quality.
Special Guest – Hannah Powe (Neogen): Discussing genetic technologies and tools driving commercial progress.
SPI Commercial Register: Introduction and member update.
Branded Beef Competition Launch: Hear the exciting details behind the upcoming Speckle Park Branded Beef Competition, designed to showcase the eating quality of the breed.
12.00 – 1.15 pm: Light lunch with fellow members.
Afternoon Session (from 1.30 pm)
SPI AGM, including the Chairmans address, subcommittee reports and member discussions.

Accommodation is available at the Mercure North Melbourne, located on the corner of Flemington Road and Harker Street – the same venue hosting Sunday’s Industry Updates and AGM.
